Art of the Frame

Mounting

All prints are conservation mounted. Only conservation quality materials and techniques are used. Mounted prints are matted bevel cut black or white acid-free matboard.

Framing

Frames of course are optional. Mat mounted photographs are available with a choice of framing. I use standard-sized flat black anodized aluminum metal frames and deluxe wooden frames that are treated with a flat black finish. They are beautiful while simple as not to distract from the artwork.

The metal frames glazing is break-resistant, lightweight acrylic plastic sheets. Acrylic sheets contribute to lower shipping costs and safer handling.

The wooden frames are glazed with glass. I think the glass adds a touch of elegance to the beautiful lines of the wooden frame.
